
Creating Cold Wax Snowmen
Today, we'll create a fun and easy cold wax snowman painting that kids will love. This simple project is perfect for school art teachers and parents at home, offering a fantastic way to spark creativity and enjoy painting.

You Will Need:
Heavier weight paper
Five Star NZACRYL Acrylic paints (black, cool red, vivid leaf green, process magenta)
Brush

Instructions:
Paint the Snow: Using the brush, paint the "snow" areas with Five Star Cold Wax and leave it to dry.
Background Colour: Once the wax is dry, paint over the entire sheet of paper with Five Star Ezi-Dye blue. Add a bit more coverage in some areas for a more random effect. Let it dry.
Add Details: Using the brush, add colourful hats, scarves, and buttons to each snowman by applying a thick coat (or several coats) of Five Star NZACRYL acrylic paints.

Hints:
To remove Cold Wax from screens, use hot water and detergent, scraping with a knife.
To remove from fabric, iron between two sheets of clean paper.
Five Star Liquid Dye, Ezi-Dye, and Water Soluble Dyes can be used for the dye background of this bright idea.
